Fence companies that find the property line, set the posts properly and hang gates that still latch in five years.
About Nashville's Fence Company
Nashville's Fence Company is a fence company serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
A fence is a row of post holes, and the holes are where fences fail — set shallow, set in dry mix, set on the neighbor’s land. Our crews locate the line, set every post in concrete to depth, and price the fence by the foot with the gates and the tear-out shown.
What we do
- Find the line. Survey pins or a plat before the layout, so the fence is on your land and not a dispute.
- Set posts to depth. Concrete, below the frost line, with the post plumb and braced until it cures.
- Build gates to last. Adjustable hinges, a diagonal brace and a latch that a child cannot open; the gate is the fence you use.
What we will not do
- Dry-set posts. A bag of mix poured dry in the hole is a post that leans in two winters.
- Guess the line. A fence a foot over the line is a fence that gets moved at your expense.
- Skip the HOA check. Height, style and color rules are real, and the approval belongs before the order.
What we actually work on
What fence companies in Nashville get asked for — installation and repair in every material, and what each one covers.
The fencing problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Dog keeps getting out
- No privacy from neighbors
- Fence leaning or falling
- Pool needs a legal barrier
- Storm took a section down
- Old fence looks awful
Who does the work
Every fence crew we run carries liability insurance on file with us and calls in utility locates before digging; the crews have set posts in this rock and clay on jobs we know.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a fencing job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The fence companies who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No fence galleries from a manufacturer and no quoted customers this brand has not had yet; the proof will be fences standing straight in a few winters.
Where we work
Fence crews building in Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the range is 65 towns across 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for fencing, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our fencing guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any fence company in the region, including us.
Who we are
Nashville's Fence Company is owned and run by Michael Blair, and he answers for every word on this site. The pages are written from manufacturer documentation, Tennessee code and the trade’s own practice, and revised when those change; the posts carry his name and their dates. The fence companies who do the work are licensed, insured, held to the commitments above, and Nashville's Fence Company stands behind the work.
Check us, or any fence company: a Tennessee contractor’s license is verified at verify.tn.gov, the certificate of insurance is yours to ask for before anyone starts, and the permit office for your town is named on its page.
